We use a custom CNAME for our public Gumlet channel to showcase our videos on our own branded domain. In this setup, the Login button is not relevant because it redirects visitors to the Gumlet login page, which can be confusing for our users. This matches the discussion I had with the Gumlet support team.
It would be great to have an option to:
Hide or disable the Login button on selected public channels.
Optionally disable the Subscribe functionality for channels that are intended only as a video showcase.
Allow channel owners to choose whether viewer accounts and subscriptions are available.
This would provide a cleaner, more professional experience for businesses using Gumlet with a custom domain, where the channel is only meant for video viewing and not for user subscriptions or logins. Gumlet support confirmed there is currently no workaround and suggested submitting this as a feature request.
