Metadata label

I’d like to request the ability to manually configure the language metadata label for videos uploaded to Gumlet. Currently, the platform seems to infer the language tag from the video file itself. However, in cases where the tag is incorrect or missing (for example, when using software like DaVinci Resolve), there is no way to edit or override this metadata once the video is uploaded.
As a result, all my videos are being labeled as English, even though my content and channel are entirely in Spanish. This creates issues when I try to add subtitles or alternate audio tracks in multiple languages, as the incorrect language metadata causes conflicts and confusion.
Being able to define or correct the language tag manually—either during upload or later from the dashboard—would be extremely helpful.
Thank you in advance for considering this feature.

juangmagic, what do you mean labeling videos?
We do not label videos basis of language. Are you using AI subtitles? If yes, we identify the language from the video, not English.

Anshul No, I’m specifically referring to the audio tracks. Gumlet relies on embedded metadata to determine the language of each video. However, DaVinci Resolve assigns “English” as the default language tag to all audio tracks, regardless of the actual spoken language. As a result, the primary audio track is labeled as English even when the content is in Spanish.
Furthermore, once an asset is uploaded, it's not possible to modify the language tag of the original audio track, replace it, or remove existing tracks. This limitation reduces flexibility when managing multilingual content.
While support for multiple audio tracks is highly valuable, the current implementation would benefit from additional configuration options—particularly the ability to edit metadata, assign custom language tags, and manage track order or deletion post-upload.

juangmagic, I checked with out tech team.
Since this happens at the time of transcoding, we can't give that control out their. However, we recommend that you upload the rightly metadata labeled videos for error-free processing.

Anshul Yes, I know I can correct the metadata before uploading, but what about the extra audio tracks? I can't delete or correct those labels. And what can I do about the videos that are already uploaded?
Anshul
juangmagic, in future, we will add a way to remove those audio as well. In a month or so.
