Command for moving clips missing. "add to playlist" creates copies.

As the folders were converted into playlists, I had to rearrange some content. Clips from ten folders were consolidated into one playlist.
The context menu tool for moving is labelled "Add to Playlist". This creates a new link and does not delete the old one: it is therefore a copy process, not a move.
So the links to the video in folders / playlists that I want to delete remain. When deleting, I found it problematic that it was not transparent what would happen next: Do I now only delete a folder with a file link that is no longer needed - or is the video now deleted?
Since there is no Undo, and it takes some effort to restore the assets (re-upload, create a new description, tag and embed at usage locations), Gumlet should give very precise feedback on what "delete" means.
Gumlet should have two distinct commands in the context menu:
⬝ Move to Playlist
⬝ Copy to Playlist
The current setup leads to extra work (clean up in source folders) and uncertainty as to what the step will do.

This is basic. This should have been allowed from the beginning.

This is basic core functionality when you have collections of a lot of stuff and you need to be able to easily move them. Place to place to order them correctly. How much bandwidth do I need to waste because I need to delete a video and then re-upload the video, how stupid is that. This is basic core functionality. Do you need me to join the team and take a day and do it if that's what we need to do let me know and I'll happily join the team and update this so you're actually paying customers can have a basic feature stupid shit. And to have a response such as marked as closed and just say we won't be doing. It is shitty. Your customers I'm literally telling you something to make the experience better and then you're like no fuck those people. Thanks for making me feel wanted.

walid.johnson Here here 🙌 zero consideration given to their paying customers. I shall no longer be recommending Gumlet, when something so basic isn't considered as important...

Markus Simpson: We love your love towards Gumlet, hence, you are putting the real feedback here.
Moving videos across collections is not same as moving videos between playlists or folders.

We won't be doing this.

Fundamentally, a collection at the core is a workspace and moving assets from workspace to workspace is not a good way to share data.

Anshul, the alternative is to delete an upload, and then re-upload it to the desired collection. That's hardly a better solution.
Anshul
rwcampbell2, I can understand from where you are coming from.
At this point, we are not looking to prioritise this because there are bigger things that we are focusing on.

Anshul This makes no sense. This is basic functionality.

Markus Simpson: We don't want to move videos across storages, database tables and a lot more places. Having said that, it's more than moving videos.

This feels like something basic that should be added as soon as possible.
